African Caribbean wedding show coming to Toronto in April

Ambessa Weddings has announced the return of the African Caribbean Weddings Show on April 1 at the Daniels Spectrum in Toronto. This year, Ambessa Weddings is expanding to include the Caribbean Canadian communities in Toronto. With roughly 550,000 African and  Caribbean Canadians in Ontario alone, the African and Caribbean Wedding Show is expected to draw thousands looking to connect with wedding vendors that specialize in and understand their cultural traditions.

The African & Caribbean Wedding Show will showcase both traditional and modern wedding themes. Newly engaged couples can explore the variety of vendors from the community. As they browse and sip mimosas, guests will be treated to a fashion show featuring modern and cultural bridal fashions, as well a panel discussion on 2017 bridal trends.
“Ambessa Weddings is thrilled to present Canada’s premiere bridal show to serve the African & Caribbean Canadian community. This event will help newly engaged couples find vendors for their wedding, and give dozens of businesses the opportunity to meet clients and showcase their work,” says Laba Menghistab, founder of Ambessa Weddings. “In the African and Caribbean community, we rely heavily on word-of-mouth to find customers or to find a business. But what happens if you don’t know whom to ask? This is an opportunity for so many in our community living in Toronto to connect with these vendors in person.”
