The purpose of this association is to establish and maintain an Ontario-based not for profit, non-political and non-denominational social association that will empower members economically through social support.
The association will serve the general interests of the members through self-help and promote understanding among members through cultural and social interaction.
Biographical Info
Kenyan Community in Ontario (KCO) is an Ontario-based not for profit, non-political and non-denominational organization committed to promoting community development, settlement and adjustment programs as well as preserving the rich cultural heritage of the Kenyan community in Canada. KCO works in collaboration with other communities, organizations in Ontario and elsewhere in achieving its objectives. KCO involves members of the Kenyan community and friends of Kenya in Ontario and in Canada – in productive community economic development initiatives and to foster a sense of Kenyan national unity, development consciousness and equity among Kenyans.
